Obtained over two and a half decades of progressive corporate finance experience and three years as an academic, Ass. Professor in Accounting and Finance, researcher. Received first finance role back in 1993 as an administrator in a media company in London, UK. Later on joined the London based accounting and audit firm as credit controller and shortly afterwards was promoted as junior financial consultant. The career ladder has been ongoing ever since and progressed to CFO and CEO, to a C-level executive in companies in Western, Central and in Eastern European countries. In depth experience was gained in All-Round accounting and finance tasks in multiple industries by applying US, European GAAP’s and SOX-Compliance. Managed departments and companies of different sizes, some with Agile methodology.
The PhD Thesis and research paper are based on ‘Earnings Management’ with newly developed hands-on techniques and models and are applicable for any company size, or industry.
